Happy New Year! Welcome to 2019!
For the New Year we ran a New Year's Eve themed one-shot scenario in Call of Cthulhu. This is a slightly modified version of the scenario Dead Light (find it here: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/129325/Dead-Light?affiliate_id=19386). Father Britton finds himself embroiled in strange and terrifying circumstances on December 31, 1919. Will he be able not only to survive to the new year but to solve this mysterious horror by midnight?

But nothings ever quite that cut in dry, is it? Especially on a half abandoned asteroid where locals have been going missing.

In Part 1 of our two-part Eclipse Phase Fireside Story, Aiden is sent to the mined out asteroid of Kongyun to investigate the disappearance of a Firewall Sentinel that was supposed to be dropping off a payment to a local triad boss. As any good space-noir story should, this one starts with chasing down leads, making contacts, and trying not to stand out on a rock full of old mining synthmorphs.
Then stay tuned for Part 2 to see what happens when those leads come to fruition...

We are doing another Palaver (I guess we had a lot to talk about), this time to discuss a topic that comes up for us a lot. Why are so many people afraid to join or afraid to try again with an RPG? We've heard time and time again about people having an experience that left a bad taste in their mouth and made them avoid gaming as a whole. So we talk about behaviors and habits to avoid, the roles of the players and game master, how to set yourself up for success, and some tips for making the environment more engaging and more welcoming. This is a hobby that should be fun for everyone! So here's our two cents!
